TODAY!!!

Today was really fun!!! I learned how to make buttons and I made them for almost everybody. Except after a while I couldn't get it to work. It made me so mad. But oh well. I also got to do storytime with Cindy and we read the "parts" books and made paper mr.potato head paper crafts. They were fun!!!

Today I got to hold like part of a snake (EEEWWW)and cary an aligator outside (in a bucket) for the unhuggables progam it was totaly awsome. Then I got to be mean for the scary movie. (It was surprisingly fun :) I absolutly love being at the library.YAY for Hampton

Really awesome morning

Wow! This has been an awesome morning. Today at 11:00 the "Unhuggables" were here. I actually held a snake!! Ok so Cynthia held most of it while I let it wrap its upper body around me. But hey, I don't normally like stuff like that so it was an accomplishment for me. (Actually it was really cool :)! After the program, a lady with really cute kids came to sign them up for the MSRP. It was so funny. When they were about to leave one of her little boys refused to leave the library until he had read 25 hours! He REALLY wanted his circus ticket!!! She finally convinced him that they needed to go home. It's great that kids want to read that much!

Wow! This has been a really looooong day! It's also been really fun! So this morning we worked on rehearsing the puppet show. I'm not actually in it but Pam made me the head critic :). It was so awesome to have permission to boss and criticize everybody!!! :) No but seriously all of the puppeteers are absolutely amazing. We did several rehersals and then at 1:30 the Lopez kids came over to watch and then give their opinions of the puppet show. Of course, they loved it! Afterwards Julio, Harry, and Carlos started singing and dancing. They're crazy!! It was hilarious when Harry made a puppet out of Carlos. All of us girls were embarrassed to do anything but we had fun watching. I can't wait for the puppet show tommorow.

Don't you hate it when technology just seems hates you?

Okay so yesterday we (Me,Maria,Mariana, and Pam) were going to watch a movie. Simple task, right? Wrong!!!! We tryed EVERYTHING!!! First the dumb laptops wouldn't connect to the InFocus machine. We tryed three different laptops. THREE!! Then we decided to just use a DVD player and coonect to another projector but the movie still wouldn't play. Pam said that the movie better be worth all this trouble because we were only going to be able to see a few minutes because setting this thing up was taking forever. I kind of laughed but I agreed with her. So we finally decided to ask one of the librarians to help us with it and he figured it out. We were so happy! It was funny though because then we only got to see like the first ten minutes of the movie because it was time to go and the library was closing. So yeah, technology sometimes sucks. But what can I say, sometimes that's the way life is.
