Hmm, today? It was pretty low key, I liked it, went pretty well as usual. We gained three new volunteers today. I made the brochure to the Teen Center Events, but when i got home, I found out that I didn't save it correctly. I sure did learn a lesson. Be sure to post an entry about your day :D

OK A funny story.A little girl came to sighn up and she was soooo excited but she didn'tknow all of her information so she asked her brother for help.He just got mad at her for not asking first.So shd didn't sighn up.Two days later she came back to sighn up.She was all excited again.So this time she knew all her information and really sighned up.She was so excited and had a ton of questions. She asked when she could do it, and if she could do it when she is old.My reply was "well you aren't going to get old this summer .Are you???"So we finnaly answered all of her questions and she left .But not for good she was back in a second to ask another question."How do you know I actually read it"I said "We don't but it's not verry nice to lie".She said "oh I won't I was just wondering."then she left again.but then she was back for the last time and with an adorable smile she said "Bye I going home to read!!!!!!!!!!"

Hey everyone! Today, I've been working on brochure holders, they turned out pretty okay. I used what we had and they looked cute. today went pretty well, Julio also finished Jenny's video. I thought it was really cool.

I made the 'art' stuff below. I make them according to my day or how I'm feeling :)

well i have been working @ the library for a while and i'm taking a break to do my hw...but i will be back toodles

Harry :Today : 6/23

Today was good. I worked on the ocean part of the display we are making for the childrens center. We got a lot of work done on it today. I had a lot of bad experiences with spray-glue though! Also, I learned some strategies for being a storyteller for children. It was a lot harder than I thought, but now I know "Where the wild things are" back to front.

Actual Event-Teen Center Opening :)

On the Teen Center opening day, everything went pretty well. The Teen Center table and the Wicked Reads Book Club had raffle drawings. Wicked Reads were able to earn a few more readers to join their club. At the tables, we were giving out t-shirts, usb drives, books, and many more. We also had the Running Turtles play in the lobby and refeshments out as well. It seemed like a sucessful first day.

Our Progress :)

All the volunteers and staff worked really hard to make the opening day of the Teen Center a sucessful one. We did various things include: organizing, copying, designing, decorating and doing anything that needed to be done. We had several amazing displays and were all very excited about the upcoming day.
